this week has been largely sleep-deprived... around 4 to 5 hrs of sleep average per day. sucks.. but it's not just me. seems that everyone is feeling the same as me. audit's tmr and we have been preparing hard for it for the whole week. hope things will turn out fine. certainly dont want to see our efforts gone to waste.
i can see that everybody around me is getting more and more short-tempered, me included. i suppose it's the lack of sleep and the increasing amount of stress as days to audit get lesser and lesser. conflicts everywhere.. im not talking about commanders vs men.. it's more of regulars vs nsf. i suppose to many of us the audit isnt very impt cus we are going to ORD soon but for many of the regulars, especially those key appointment holders, this audit means very much to them ba i think. can see alot having this grouchy face when they are tasked to do their stuffs, like fixing the vehs and cleaning arms. i hope that after this week everyone's ok and we can all look forward to our countdown party!
had SOC last friday and i had to really push this men cus he couldnt seem to run.. so i was barking at him to make him finish his course.. i remembered saying something like "have u tried your best?" to motivate him to push himself. apparently it didnt work. and at the end of the day he felt abit giddy and unconscious. seems like he over-exerted himself over the course. but in the end he was ok. thank goodness.
later back in bunk i was thinking.. how do u know if u have done your best. i realise that there are alot of things that u thought that "i have done my best" at that point of time, but after time has passed and u look back u realised that "oh actually i could have done better.. shit" and then u start to regret about putting in enough effort. hai.. i really need to do more reflections everynow and then to remind myself that i can actually perform better than i think i can. only in this way then i can improve and become a better person.
