hansheng's farewell dinner..
had my 1st guard duty as a guard 2IC yesterday. totally mentally draining i would say, especially when my guard 3IC had to leave halfway in the middle of the night for butt setting (yea he has live firing today.. poor thing) and i had to cover his duty as well. which left me with little or almost no sleep at all. hah my eyes are super heavy now but i refuse to close my eyes. i wonder why.. i think it's because there's not much time to enjoy my life now before i book in back to camp again.
anyway when i was doing gate duty one of the sentries complained he had a stomachache and felt like vomitting. i told him to fall out and see the MO but he refused to. seeing his poor poor condition i decided to tell the guardcom to talk to him abt it. when the guardcom came and asked abt him, suddenly his eyes and nose turned red. and the next moment he started to cry like a baby! wah i was super shocked. never encountered this type of situation before.. tried to stay calm and console him.. and eventually the both of us persuaded him to see the MO.
