this week has been a pretty good and exciting week for me. why?
our dearest CSM is on overseas leave! woohoo that means the whole freaking hq coy is in HAVOC!! waseh there's no one to arrow us to do stupid things.. and there's no need for the specs to activate their personal smoke grenade launcher (if u know what i mean)..
had my 1st COS duty on wed and OH MINE it sure was an experience. COS is really the coy's only slave man.. have to man the phone for 24 hrs.. stand like an idiot in the cookhouse.. like an exhibit. the only thing that im proud of was the lowering and the raising of flags.. dont ask me why..
thought that i can relac abit after office hours and the irritating cookhouse duty.. but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO there had to be a sudden security check by the brigade pple. OMG i wasnt prepared at all.. cus i was briefed only to do the security checks on the various offices (which was like at 10+pm) after staff parade.. and the sudden security check was at 8+? WTH.. so there were alot of security breaches loh..
i see myself in camp during Xmas le..
thought all the adrenaline rush would be over after the checks.... but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (again) someone had to book in after 2359. wapiang i was panicking by 2330 already cus he had to book in at 2230. and after 2359 he was still outside. the best part was that his hp wasnt on, when i called his home his parents say he's in camp already, when i call the hps of his frens no one knew his whereabouts and the best part was that when i did a check around the bunks he wasnt there! GG.. i reported this incident to the DO and i think he didnt know what to do also except to wait. so i waited at my desk and dozed off and that idiot booked in at around 130am.
WTF
i was too shagged to say anything to him.. i closed evreything at around 2am and i slept and woke up at 4+ cus the aircon was FREAKING COLD. KNNBCCB!!!! so practically i only had 2+ hrs of sleep and i had to continue my duty till 8am. after my COS i went to run SOC with my men. quite fun except that my men failed still. sighs after the adrenaline rush was over came in the fatigue. was so shagged i hid under the table in my office, listened to my ipod and slept. the officers didnt know that i was in the office all along and my men helped me cover up. THANKS!
so that was my COS duty. the best part of the week was ytd! woot had 1/2 day off in the afternoon for my s3 branch cohesion outing! but some bad things had to happen.. like we had to fall in at 1pm.. had to check our eyes if they were red and watery. cus apparently our battalion has an outbreak of conjunctivitis and my dearest smoker (think in terms of smoking out and not smoking) who tried to get attc cus of his conjunctivitis was stuck in the sickbay HAHA!
ok that's not the main gist of fri but anyway. we left after our eyes were checked by the medics and we headed to marina bay for bowling! some of us bowled while the others dotaed.. and yes my ops sgt is DAMN GOOD at dota.. apparently he owns every game according to my men haha.. and i bowled like shit again.. only barely a 100+ for 2 out of 3 games.. but it's ok. had steamboat after that which was the highlight cus s3 brought his wife! ok nvm.. had fun eating and talking but we had to stop eating at 9+pm cus some of the men had to run their SOC tests (again) today! but nevertheless it was a great outing. s3 says that we can have it like once every 2 months but i think we should do it like once every 2 weeks or something! :D then we dont have to go back for RT on sat! yeah..
